I was born in Israel to parents, who immigrated from the city of
Kuchin in India in the 50's, the seventh child of eight children in
my family. Years of my childhood I was spending in the tranquil, beautiful
and pastoral Judah mountains landscape of the settlement called "Tauz".
I was growing in an educated and variegated family, which encouraged
creativity. Therefore, when I couldn't express my feelings orally,
I expressed them by creating. When I create, I feel like I experience
the beginning of an adventure the end of it unknown.
I express my creativity in many fields. Sometimes it comes to me like
rain droplets, sometimes like a rainstorm, but what is for sure, it
never dries out!
After I was released from the Army I moved to the big city Tel- Aviv,
where I studied in a profesional Fine-Arts-School, on Klisher street,
near the local "Ha- Karmel" market. That combination, between the
lively city during the week, and the tranquility of the Tauz settlement
in the weekends, were ideal for inspiration for me.
In the 80's, I was married to Nahum, who also came from a creative
family, and then were born our three charming children: Bar, Iyar
and Ben. After we lived ten years in Rishon Le- Zion , we moved to
the city of Modi'in that was just erected. Today, after not a few
"labor pains", we're very satisfied we choose to live here. |
